This sculpture blends the city's adoration for mid-century architecture, classic American cars, and the alluring desert landscape. It is inspired by the iconic 1959 Cadillac with fully functional tail lights.

Common Unity represents the interconnection between individuals through modern technology, depicted by two identical figures engaged in conversation. This symbolic portrayal highlights the essence of human connection and knowledge sharing in today’s digital era.

Gay Pride Monument, paying homage to the 500 plus courageous social justice warriors who tirelessly fought for the rights and freedoms of the LGBTQ community. The inspiration for this concept drew from one of the United States’ most iconic public artworks – the Statue of Liberty.
The sphere symbolizes unity and is reminiscent of a contemporary disco ball. The disco era was a significant time for the LGBTQ+ community, characterized by liberation, and a nostalgic reflection on pride, freedom, joy, and celebration. Like the statue of Liberty, this sculpture serves as a beacon, illuminating the path to a promising future and metaphorically passing on the torch to the next generation.
The outreached hand introduces a dramatic and off-balance element to the monument, symbolizing an extension of connection, outreach, and dynamic engagement. It serves as a symbol of strength, support, and guidance.

The Ritz-Carlton sought a cultural fit with the city's architectural heritage and 1930s design. Taking inspiration from cubism, this sculpture explores the concept of manipulating perspectives, styles, and the interplay between realism and abstraction.
My design proposal embodies the essence of exploration as a metaphor for self-discovery, personal growth, and the pursuit of one's own potential. The presence of a small bird resting on the explorer's hat symbolically reminds us that oftentimes what we seek lies within arm's reach, urging us to reconsider our perspectives.

This sculpture serves as a commemoration of the Marshall fires that caused destruction to more then 1000 homes. With its concept, the sculpture features a charred plywood vase, adorned with a yellow orchid, symbolizing the hopeful concepts of regrowth and beauty emerging from the ashes.
The selection committee sought an artwork embodying the innovative spirit of the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition, which was instrumental in the island's creation. The artwork should engage and enchant viewers, with a whimsical, playful demeanor capable of uplifting spirits, inspiring awe, laughter, or joy. Additionally, it should reflect the historical and contemporary essence of Treasure Island and its maritime surroundings, while forging a meaningful connection to the San Francisco Bay Area.
In response to these criteria, my concept proposal is 'Guardian of Treasure Island.' This whimsical sculpture draws inspiration from the innovative engineering and designs of the 1930s, taking cues from the Pacific Rock Crabs indigenous to the Bay Area. Perched against a breathtaking backdrop, the sculpture assumes the role of a vigilant guardian, casting “one” watchfull eye upon “each of the two bridges” that symbolize San Francisco's enduring resilience. Its claws, resembling tools of mechanical engineering, evoke a sense of industriousness and adaptability.
The lantern atop the sculpture pays homage to the 'Tower of the Sun,' a prominent feature of the 1939/40 Exposition, designed by San Francisco's esteemed architect, Irving F. Morris. Serving a dual purpose, it not only illuminates the sculpture from above, casting a soft glow at night, but also bathes the surrounding area in a calming blue light.

This proposal draws inspiration from Castle Rock's name and iconic landmark, presenting the "Kings and Queens" of Castle Rock with a crown to bring joy and contemplation to residents and visitors.
Incorporating the Columbine, Colorado's state flower, honors the town's natural beauty and love for the outdoors. Chromed car wheels in the design pay tribute to Castle Rock's Motorsport legacy, inspired by Carroll Shelby's record-setting track that led to the creation of the legendary Cobra sports car.

not realized concept for Boulder, CO. This whimsical bronze sculpture, crafted to evoke the appearance of a solid rock, features a rocking horse standing on its hind legs, playfully interacting with a tiny yellow mouse.
An homage to our majestic Rocky Mountains, the Rocking Mountain Horse captures the essence of Boulder’s adventurous spirit and love to play in the outdoors.

The goal was to create a figurative sculpture with both, classic and contemporary elements. Inspired by the Venus of Milo at the Louvre in Paris the sculpture has a modern appeal while honoring the historic creation.
